Hiya fellow Gamers
Hi my name is Tom and I live in the UK :)
Anyway I joined these forum because I am and have always been a big fan of Playstation consoles getting my 1st PS1 console in 1997/8 from Toys R Us with Monkey Hero and Road to World Cup 98 I have never looked back getting the PS2 and now having them both and a PS3 console :)
My playstation is umm modified :shhh: Who can have one without it being modified  So many classics on the original console from Grandia, FFVII,IX, Original Spyro and Crash Bandicoot, Croc, Legend of Dragoon and many more.
Sadly my PS2 is not modified never really had the know how on how to modify it but then I learned about the FMCB route so hopefully whilst I am a member here I will be able to gain the know how or get help from one of the awesome volunteer installers :)
Apart from playing games I live Football (Soccer) and am a big fan of Aston Villa. Always have been always will be :)

Hey avfctom, nice to meet you. I actually have never heard of modding the original ps1. I was extremely little when they first came out, I can only remember my favorite ones to watch my older siblings play like FF9, Chrono Cross, and Legend of the Dragoon. There's a way to play ps1 games on the PC and psp now, I've done it a few times but my PC isn't powerful enough to handle newer ps2 games. Alas, that's another reason why I'm here, reviving my interest in the ps2. I have only gotten as far as blocking the sensors on my ps2 slim, but haven't figured out the correct procedure to disc swap for FMCB. I am also scared to damage my original ps2 games that I have kept in pristine condition. There's a few guides to help you get started, I hope you find the answers you need.
