Hi guys, my name is Zeikku - But you guys can call me Jake. I work on a little site called Dashhacks and while I had problem with this site in the past, I thought it'd be time to join. My aim, is to re-kindle the PS3 scene as well as making a lot more friends. Anyway, I'll keep this short but I'll see you guys around!

How do you "intend to re-kindle the PS3 scene" when it seems quite alive and well and progressing forward?

Looks like we are very close to having dual boot capability.
New homebrew is hitting frequently.
The only real issue I see at the moment are the people whining and complaining about not being ale to play on PSN with the current CFW's available.

Even with dual boot (of which, I already have the little toy pre-ordered ), we will still have the kiddies complaining about not getting PSN for CFW. They are the ones wanting to play the games they have pirated.

I love the hombrew stuff and the ability to back up the games (which can get expensive when the pooch grabs a few of your game discs and decides they are chew toys ).

The ability to play the newer games and be able to have Netflix on the PS3 again will be wonderful.

It's progressing, but there has been drama involving developers and PSX_Scene in the past. In the last few days, I have started a movement with those people to unite and fully utilise each community so progression improves even more so.

I refuse to pirate, I used to own a debug console but now I have a stock PS3 with the latest firmware. Backing up is fine though - I did the same in the past. I'm a retired developer but still have a lot of love for the scene even if I don't hack. I still contribute, donate as much as I can. I'm currently involved in a project with Kakarotoks.

Isn't there a 3.72 spoofer for games now? Doesn't that work?

The spoofer is only for stopping your PS3 from prompting you to update. It does not allow you to play 3.6+ games.

Well that sucks. Even so, I'm sure I read something on PS3-hacks about dumping keys off later firmwares - Although, that's a little complicated.
