new to modding, i have a slim ps3 with 4.25 firmware,CECH2004B can it be downgraded to mod? ive read so much things like a e3 flasher but dnt want to throw cash away for the wrong gadgets lol, i play gta alot and thats the game i want to mod for fun, any help on which way to go would be great. thx guys..

to get the proper answer you'll need to provide proper info console model would be a good start

ok so based on the model # it's downgradable to FW 2.70 (came with 2.76FW) but your only choice ATM is to purchase a hardware flasher or service to get it downgraded to 3.55
