THREAT "stop scraping content from PSX-Scene immediately"

containing this:


I am sending this email to request that you stop scraping content from PSX-Scene immediately and remove any of our content from your site immediately. I have copied your hosting company on this email but if our content is not removed immediately an official DMCA takedown notice has already been prepare and will be sent.

I have had a RSS feed of the PSX-Scene news running for around a year on my website and was lets just say a little surprized that I recieved this threat..

My opinion of PSX-Scene has been scarred by this already but was just wondering what the worlds coming to.

It's basically a pc gaming clan website, the rss has been removed but basically was in the right colum with the latest news titles which linked to psx scenes pages, I guess my advertising for psx scene wasn't valued

It does seem like psx is punching itself in the face.
Maybe they will see this thread and try to save some rep.
