Found this online, and thought I would share. It is about a new tech used to make video games look thousands of times better. I recommend that you set the settings to high def, and watch full screen. And then go out and find some more videos and information:
Why would these people make such a Video! there disgracing all that is 3D
a Video game consist of Polygons, Bitmap images and emulated lighting the closest thing you'll get to an atom is a particle effect.
if you want "Unlimited Detail" Look at crysis or Mass effect AND battle field 3 thats what i call Amazing detail.
Imagine an engine using atoms to form a game. the atoms would be physical so the engine would treat them as polygons. an atom is displayed as a spherical object so it would be a polygonal sphere. what processor can render billions of polygonal spheres (Atoms) per second? of course the upcoming i90 extreme intel surrounded by 10amds and 1 huge Cell processor.
The best 2 engines to date are the Cryengine and the frost bite engine. UnrealEngine was defeated long ago

I'm a bit skeptical with this. For this to be running in software only, their must be major repetition. "Search algorithm one atom for each pixel on screen does not use much CPU power" He's stating trillions of atoms? (Don't most high end graphic cards only handle millions?) IDK.
