We had some members asking for a place to hold general discussions not related to the PS Scene so here ya go.

It's nothing personal, but this place feels like a shadow of it's former self.
I understand that it will take time to get it back to it's glory, but in the mean time you can expect some grief from people like me who were blindsided when the site went down one day and came back up with new owners, inferior themes (personal opinion), and less than qualified people promoted to Moderator status. Our newsfeed is almost always behind everyone else's, and what does get published is usually a 1:1 copy of the news I read elsewhere days beforehand, which is very irritating.

will this place ever regain it's status as the #1 PS-Scene site? Only time will tell....

Change happens and we are doing everything we can as fast as possible to get back to what everyone is used to. The themes are what is available with the upgraded version on VB and you have many to choose from. Also a longtime member of PSX is currently in the process of creating a custom theme that is very close to the original PSX theme that was in place before the transition. As soon as this is ready it will be added to the list of themes that you can choose from.

Regarding the moderators that you deem less than qualified I'm not sure what you mean. All of the original mods from PSX are still in their current roles (minus any who have decided that they didn't have time to moderate). We also brought over the existing PSGroove mods as well. Other than that no one is new.

Regarding the news we are publishing articles as they get submitted by members. We do have something in place now that will deliver more timely original news so going forward from today this won't be an issue either.
