3D glasses backwards compatibility
If the technology doesn't change, is it possible newer active shutter glasses will work on an older model tv? I'm asking cause there is a newer model tv of the one that i have that has glasses that are 40$ a pair, instead of $60+ for the model i've got but it seems like nothing has changed; they're both Bluetooth and not IR like the model before mine.
Well, here's more background information: the tv i have is LG 60PZ950 and it takes LG's AGS-250 glasses. The newer model takes the glasses AGS-350.
Does anyone have this tv and have tried the glasses? I don't have any glasses because the tv came at a great price with no glasses included. Any help would be appreciated because as 3D isn't vitally important (i've gone without for a while since i've had the tv) it'd be nice to have if the glasses could be a better price.
Thanks for any help that can be provided. I'm expecting the glasses won't work, but they might cause the technology hasn't changed much.
