I've been following the steps, and I have the CB with the checksum F279F8412CAFE80F326BB945D7DC480F, which the instructions say needs to be unpacked 2x. The first run through goes fine, but the second time trying to unpack causes an infinite loop (I've made sure file names are correct and that for the 2nd unpacking I'm trying to unpack the result of the 1st round).
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks for helping a noob out.
On the 2x unpcack ELF. You MUST unpack it the first time with no parameters. Then, unpack it with the parameters in Bootleg's tutorial.
That worked great. I've already downloaded several day1 files. Thanks everyone.
Cool. Glad to be of assistance.
Hello everyone
i have codebreaker-10
and i have a problem.after i choose a code a press start and it takes me back to the main menu.then i press start game and put the game.but when i go to load game it has only mi save and not that with the codes.
Please somebody tell me what to do![]()
Please elaborate. I can't quite seem to understand what the exact problem is.
You seem to be under the misapprehension that CodeBreaker would create some special gamesave containing the selected cheats. But that is not how it works at all, with any real cheat engine. Possibly you have it confused with other cheat methods that are based on hex-editing gamesaves, thinking that real cheat engines might do that too, but in fact they don't.
What a real cheat engine does is to install some program code into special ram sections and with special interrupt links, so that this 'runtime engine' remains running in the 'background' when you launch the game. This means that you can start a game from scratch, using no gamesaves at all, and have the selected cheats active all the time, and they will also remain active if you change your mind and load other gamesaves etc (since they are independent of gamesaves). The cheats will even survive in-game soft resets to the game boot screen, like when pressing L2+L1+Select+Start+R1+R2 in "Final Fantasy X". So those cheats will remain active until you hard-reset the console.
Best regards: dlanor
So what i must do?
Shall i throw it and take a new one?![]()
It doesn't saves at all![]()
