I thought it would be better to delete my old thread and post a new one here.
Anyway, I'm new, and I have some questions about code conversions.
I have a PAL Xploder version 2. I've worked out that Xploder v2 takes RAW codes, and I've learnt how to convert Xploder V4 codes to V2, so I was really happy until I found that Xploder don't really keep their codes up to date and there's a lot of newer games missing on their site.
So I've been trying to convert PAL Action Replay and AR Max codes to RAW. However, I've tried doing this and comparing them to codes that work on Xploder, and they end up being completely different. I've tried the right key codes and everything.
Does it matter if both the RAW codes are different? Will they still work?
Ok, on to another question, about porting codes to different regions.
I've read a guide or two about how to convert codes in DeltaMaker.
I found it a little confusing... they said that to convert the codes, you need to get the same code in PAL and NTSC, turn them both into RAW, then put them into the Address lines and get the offset. You then enter the code you want to convert in the Input code section then port them.
But it made me wonder... If I had both a PAL code and an NTSC code, then why would I need to port them? I would already have the code in the region I want. lol
Oh well, maybe someone can help me. I'd appreciate it alot
