Not really, all the codes we've seen for MGS3 are code patches, because the memory used for the game is dynamically allocated on a level/scene basis, so finding the address for health in one level, will be useless in another level, hence code patch required.
To make the code patches for MGS3, you need to have the ability to find out what code uses the health, then you knobble the code. So unless it's static memory addresses, the memdump info is reletively useless. No reason why this functionality couldn't be added though, all the hardware to do it is in every playstation, you just gotta set the appropriate registers.
As far as I'm aware, the memcard dumping method is nothing new, Pyriel mentioned that's how he gets his dumps months ago.

just thought i woudl say something in here u do know that we at the CMP have had this code for a vary long time now .. we where just perfecting the way to make the code and so on .. and From what i know of pyriel .. hes mainly strait Elf hacking /bins .. from my understanding .. hes vary good at what he does :P
we also looked up other infoation befor we released the 2 codes as well ..
cant remember the Exact Date as to wen we got the first Dump code but ya it was a bit back .

As have many others, yet there are still virtually no codes submitted here that aren't coverted/modified AR/GS/XP codes, so the dump isn't massively useful on it's own if games use RAM dynamically.
Brilliant for rpg's and whatnot though, since they tend to have static variables (on the whole).
