ALRIGHTY THEN!!!!
i'm no math wiz by any stretch of the imagination but bear with me for a moment if you please...
the code for traffic in online cruises posted by "hacker07" does in fact work, but i have no idea why when it is compared to the codejunkies website code for "no traffic"
take a look...
"hacker07" traffic online code =
FEBBC292 DBCA99B8
FEB43D00 BCA99B84
"codejunkies" no traffic code =
FEBC292D BCA99B83
FEB43D00 BCA99B83
the only constant between the two versions of code is the
FEB43D00
part...
so i took the original code for no traffic from codejunkies and changed the last digit of both lines from a 3 to a 4 and guess what... "the traffic still appeared online in a cruise" YAY, part one solved.
"OLDIRTDOG" traffic online code =
FEBC292D BCA99B84
FEB43D00 BCA99B84
now, simple reasoning would state that "hopefully" by increasing the value of the last two digits of each line of code above 84 would increase the amount of cars and decreasing it below 83 would be no cars since "83" was the value for the no traffic code from codejunkies right???
WRONG!!!!!
to make a long story short here are some values i plugged in for the last 2 digits of each line and the results
83 = no traffic (duh that's the original codejunkies code)
82 = traffic online
FF = traffic online
84 = traffic online
FF being the highest 8 bit hex number = 255
(correct me if i'm wrong)
so i'm really lost now...
unless this is not a "value" code but rather and "on/off" code and the value for "low traffic" just happens to be
FEB43D00
since we already know that the modifier for traffic in the "in game menu" comes in 3 different flavors
low
med
high
all that would be needed is the value for "high traffic"
????????
and plug it into this code
"OLDIRTDOG" traffic online code =
FEBC292D BCA99B84
???????? BCA99B84
or this one if you're feeling adventurous...
"hacker07" traffic online code =
FEBBC292 DBCA99B8
???????? BCA99B84
and the only reason i say that is i would think that the 2nd version of the code would be a wee bit more stable than the original one which is off by 1 space O_o.
use whichever one you see fit to use
either way we would more than likely get more cars online.
WHEW, i'm done
thanks to "hacker07" for finding that original traffic online code!!
here's the (M) code if you want to work on this...
0E3C7DF2 1853E59E
EEBFD59A BCE8C4AA
and feel free to add to this if you have any other input that would help.
