The reason I D/Loaded an image file of the AR MAX wasn't to upgrade, it was to try & crack the encryption. It doesn't even boot on my PS2 & Im getting an upgrade sent to me personally by one of the Codejunkies Staff, free of charge

I think you just take the U.S. codes and add/ subtract the offset.

I do not have a chipped PS2, so your info is wrong. My PS2 remains the same way as when it was bought 3 years or so ago. Ive got too many friends that have had their PS2's chipped & go up in smoke for me to afford to risk it. So remove it please. And if you still dont believe me, ask GMO, he knows I got the image to look at the encryption format & that I DO NOT have a chipped PS2 either.

As for making a PAL 2 NTSC guide, I dont need to as GMO already did one, with contributions from Nachbrenner when his guide was public at X-Hub.

Now you may get away with trying to take the p**s on your site or Codejunkies, but not here matey, so stop berating Board Staff.

Yes, I have played JAP & US games, however, I DO NOT have my PS2 chipped.

Please dont show your stupidity by asking how that can be possible, just believe me when I say it can be done & stop being so niave.

And the MAX image DOES NOT boot on my PS2, even using the ways to play US/JAP.

I have a 16Mb AR MAX on its way to me free of charge courtesy of a Codejunkies Staff member, and I have the email to prove it.

Like I said before, the MAX Image was to provide myself, and In The Mind with a head start on cracking the encryption.

there is a way to boot your backups without a modchip, you need a gameshark2/action2 or AR2 Max (there are ways with Codebreaker/Xploder but it needs more testing) and you need a credit card you dont need (i use a phone card from T-Mobile) go
