Homebrew cheat device and more questions

Is there any homebrew cheat device easy to update, with possibility to add codes using the computer and compatible with most of the different codes?
More or less the perfect cheat device...

Regarding SWCoder, any way to modify the list code file? The one that the program creates on the mc after adding manually a code.

And finally, is there any cheat device compatible with USBeXtreme?
I am using FMCB, and when I select the codes on SWCoder, then press "normal boot", FMCB reboots, ULE boots, but after that if I try to execute USBeXtreme elf file, it won't load, black screen instead.

There is a new cheat device being worked on call Project Artemis. Althought it's much more then just a simple cheat device. It's being worked on over at the GSHI Forums.

"The primary goal of this project is to allow users to create, or hack, their own codes, using RAM-dumping, dump comparison, constant memory writes for testing, breakpoints, and as many other tools as feasible." - source

"Project Artemis is an endeavor to create a PS2 application, using the PS2Dev.org unofficial PS2SDK (a pre-built version of which can be found in this forum), that will allow a user to dump PS2 memory repeatedly during game play (either to a USB flash drive, or remotely via a network cable to a PC), so as to compare these dumps (either on the PS2 itself, or remotely via a network cable to a PC, using a compare utility), and the ability to force specific memory addresses to hold specific values (in order to test results of searches). At least, these are the goals for version 1.0." - source

Also, here's the latest update: Team CodeMajic join Project Artemis! So it looks like this project is going to start picking up a lot more speed now.

One of the most important aspects of Artemis will be the balance between its ease of use for beginners and its versatility for advanced users/hackers. Wherever possible, we will make the simple option the natural one, while allowing the advanced user to venture out farther into the abyss of hacking/debugging. There is also Illusion. That's fairly new. Works the same as CodeMajic, except much more commands and it'll boot backups & imports, also has some automatic protection from using banning codes if you wish to take to the internet with it.

I just visited the Illusion site, which was a very odd experience. An entire site boasting about the supposedly superior qualities of this particular cheat engine, without even a single syllable mentioning how a potential user can acquire said program...

What they said about it seemed interesting enough at first glance,
but without access to the program that is entirely pointless.

After some digging:
How to get the program is only mentioned in the pages reached by the links for joining up as a site member, which costs a lot of money...

OK, so this is not a homebrew community project at all (which was my first impression) but is instead a sort of commercial scam.

Implying that a yearly membership fee of $51.80 == free software is truly insane by my standards, and definitely not something I would be interested in.

I'm also opposed to the kind of cheating which is the main purpose of this software, which is for letting people join a gaming community and then use the cheat device in competition against other members of that community. As I see it cheats are fine when only used against a machine (as in all single-player off-line games), but using it against other people is completely immoral.
