HDL + edited save game = dosen't work?

hi all

i used sharkport 2 move save to PC, used game pheonix to edit save file
used game dvd boot the game

= no problem loading the save

use same sharkport2, same edited save file, but then use HD loader boot game = error loading save file

how come? fix able?

what do you mean you used Phoneix to edit the save file?

used game phoneix to open the save file, then look for the number, lets say $$$ in ur save file, change it to 65535 or what so ever
transfer back to memory card and run the game

now the prob is... the edited save file works if i boot the game by dvd
but then if i use hd loader , the game will say the save file is damaged

just wondering how to fix it.... anyone know?
