I have a v14 Slimline ps2 with a Matrix Infinity 1.68 and i have a Gameshark from at least a few years ago, and i never use the damn thing. But now im playing Suikoden IV and im at the end and i need like 20389892356 moneys to upgrade my stuff and i really dont have the time to trade goods for 18 years to get that money. So i decided id try to cheat with the gameshark.
I loaded the gameshark disc and the gameshark memory card in and it loaded fine, looked a bit shaky, I entered in the codes and when prompted i put in the disc and pressed X to load the game and got a black screen and nothing. How do i make the gameshark work with the matrix infinity?

You may need to get a newer version of Gameshark, or get a codebreaker setup

What version of Gameshark are you using? It may be that you have the wrong Master Code for the game or just the wrong codes in general. Normally, you can use a program called Max Convert to convert codes for another type of cheating device (Action Replay, Code Breaker, Etc.) into RAW format, which most devices accept. Some times this method doesn't work depending on the game, but it has worked on games like Final Fantasy XII (With a Gameshark 2 v2 which is really really old), which is pretty new so I'm sure you shouldn't have problems with an older game.
Hope this helps
