Do Codebreaker v2 Codes work on Codebreaker v10?

im just woundering bcuz i found codes for Smackdown vs RAW 2007 cuz i feel like hacking it and the codes are CB2 and GS3+ so im just wounderinf they will work since i cant get the SD vs RAW 2007 codesa on my Codebreaker for v10. cuz the site is all whack.

There's only 2 Codebreaker encryption types. CBv1-6 and Cbv7+. CBv10 can use both. Gameshark codes, regardless of version, would need to be decrypted. I would have thought a Ps2-Hacker would know these basic things.

There could be many different reasons why the cheat codes in the builtin database of CB v10.0 do not work for your game.

One obvious reason could be if your game is from another region. As far as I know CodeBreaker is only available for US region, so all games in the built-in database are also from that region. To use it with games from other regions you must add cheat codes for those games yourself. (Like for european and japanese games.)

If you are using one of the CB elfs patched for HDLoader/ESR then there's another problem specific for this usage. The 'Master Code' (aka: 'Enable Code') has two variants that are both very common, with the main code starting either with a '9' digit or with an 'F' digit. In all my attempts games with the 'F' digit first in their master code always fail to work with the patched CB elfs. For such cases it is necessary to design new cheat codes using the other variant, so that the main master code starts with a '9' digit. There may be other solutions to this too, but that is what works for me.

Btw:
I just checked this game in the database of CodeBreaker 10.0 installed on one of my own consoles, and I can't find the game you mention at all... I do find 1.0, 1.1, 2 and 3, but not "ATV-Offroad fury 4". Are you sure this is part of the original game list ? If not, then we have to add another possible cause of your problem, which is that the cheats added to the list for that game may never have been verified as working...
