DAMN! I don't know why, but my CB partitiion gets corrupted all the time, and I keep having to reformat it. Never minded so much, but I'll admit it, I'm incurably lazy, and compared to downloading them one by one (with the whole copy the letters into the box routine) is a herculean effort, when the always networked PS2 can so conveniently pick and choose from the online list... at least when there WAS an online list.

    EXCRAMENT!
This leaves me suddenly unable to ravage the rules of a couple of favorite games. Once I've beaten a game by the rules, it just isn't any fun anymore, the fun then is to cheat as much as possible, which, having done it fair, is far more fun than ever.

Well, then I suppose now we'll just have to share what .cbc "day 1" files we have, won't we?

    WON'T WE??!!!??

I suppose codes from other formats can be converted, but I'll have to have a hex at the .cbc format to figure out if they can be created from scratch.. I assume that they can, I hope so, anyway, I beleive I mentioned that I suffer from accute lazy. (say, that sounds like a handicap... maybe that can get me a bluie parking placard, that would help the lazy quite a bit.....)

A toxic agent on a dangerous mission so secret, even I don't know what it is, because if I did, I would have to kill myself. I don't even know who's side I am on.

I have about 72 day 1 files. all for NTSC except 1 for PAL Manhunt 2. I'm I'm too lazy to compile a list of what's what on it.

Edit - mine are for 8.1 or newer.

ps3-tools.de has a day1-filebase for PAL-Codes, if you search for those.
Also a few for ToxicOS, but I believe the person, who converted it, will not release a new one for Toxic. Not sure,... I couldn't in this case and a few friends may tell him, to do so.

Anyway,... There are many PAL-DAY1s for CB.

Btw.: Can someone help, how create an own DAY1-Server (we have the script) and to just load it through PS2 (without a PC)?
If it is not possible, we may try it later again with PC, but it would be a nice gift, if it can work through CB (direct DAY1-Upgrade).

If people can post them up, and also mention if they are for 7.x or 8.1 and newer codebreakers, I can create a page over at SKSapps to archive them if they have them.

Nothing fancy, but at least something to keep them organized.

Well, PS3-Tools.de can manage the PAL Day 1 codes. Although, I may back them up just in case. but I'm more interested in archiving the NTSC US codes since the official ones are 'gone'

edit - they are back up by the way.

Thanks! Also I may 'borrow' the SKSapps game list format for this so that we can access alphabeticly easier.

If you can't get the cbc files from them, I'll try to start downloading them one by one from the codebreaker site.

Don't waste your time downloading them one by one. Here is a tool that will download all the cbs fils from given date up to present day.

It's bash script. So you obviously need bash . You can use cygwin's for this if you're on windows. You also need wget and sed. The dafult "from" date is stored in the script file. I've set it to the default one from CB9.3 (2005-10-25, YYYY-MM-DD is the format). The date is to not download all the list everytime. Even if you download the entire list, there will be "new_files.txt" created with the files that were not in "down" directory before. Only the new files are actually downloaded.

For the lazy ones, here is the link to all 1104 files downloaded today (original site, so all for NTSC).

    http://www.sendspace.com/file/m3cffa

PS. If someone is interested in creating own Day1 server. It's very simple. It's just a standard http protocol. You specify a date and are getting proper, simple list of files. Then the CB just downloads the files user have selected. Nothing fancy, easy to do with php or whatever you want (the list is also downloaded and stored by cbdown tool, so just check it for details).

Edit: This tool was actually created when I was working with the CB hdl patch. But somehow I forgot to publish it .

Yes, but afaik CB must connect to the server through a PC, so it must connect to a server in the Internet through a PC, or you only could use an off-line-day1-server.
We try to set our own DAY1-Server (ps3tools.de PAL-DAY1-Files) online for CB.
Maybe we can expect a PAL-CB in near future,...

Btw.: You played around with CB-Patching, so I have 1 question.
Is it possible to remove the internal DB (because of the filesize)?
