Say I have a slim PStwo chipped with a non-top quality modchip and I am unable to boot backups when using the cd or dvd version, because the modchip is not sending the signal to the system to tell the disc I inserted after entering cheats is legit. It works fine on backups, normal games, and normal games with the cheat device, but not the backup games with the cheat device.

If I put the .ELF for CodeBreaker 9.2 in mc0:/BOOT/ and named it BOOT.ELF and booted using DEV1 mode (hence booting that file) and I had a backup in the system (the modchip recognizing it at boot), would this possibly trick it into working? I've tried many methods to get it working, but none have worked yet. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
