Cheating on USB Extreme is possible?

I use USB extreme to play on my faithful PS2 SCHP 30001 and my question is if I can use some kind of codebreaker (preferably an elf) to cheat on my games, my console ain't moddified, I use FreeMc Boot and ESR to play my DVD back ups and i wanna know if i can use codebreaker alongside with USB extreme

I haven´t found codes for Dynasty warriors 6 and if somebody could post some codes here for codebreaker V9.2 it is mod to work with esr, I've found some codes ina forum (i don't remember the name of the forum) but the codes didn't work, so I wanty codes, you know the classic ones, M code (for activation) inf health, inf mosou, and all that stuff

Yes it is possible to use a codebreaker.elf file to cheat on your unmodded PS2, althought the codebreaker elf file needs to be patched. I too have my PS2 unmodded and only use Free Mcboot V1.8, and the codebreaker. elf loads up from the USB flash drive just fine without any problems.

Yes it is possible to use a codebreaker.elf file to cheat on your unmodded PS2, althought the codebreaker elf file needs to be patched. I too have my PS2 unmodded and only use Free Mcboot V1.8, and the codebreaker. elf loads up from the USB flash drive just fine without any problems.

Even so, that ability is dependent on the PS2 model.

On models newer than SCPH-700xx CodeBreaker will instantly freeze if any USB device is connected (even an empty hub or some other non-storage device will also freeze it), so all USB devices must be removed while CodeBreaker is running.

On the latest models SCPH-900xx CodeBreaker elfs will instantly crash, regardless of connected devices. So on these models these patched CodeBreaker elfs can not be used at all. But SM3coder can be used on these models for similar effect.

As for using CodeBreaker with backup game loaders, it works fine with ESR, HDL, and OPL though I don't think it works with USBAdvance or USBExtreme. But no one should keep using those anyway, when OPL is so much better at doing the same thing (and more).

You're absolutely right dlanor, I did not mention further details on the way I used to use the codebreaker.elf to be able to cheat with my backup games, I have a fat
PS2 model SCPH-39004 and it was through ULe
to launch the elf file. Thanks for providing very useful information.

Yes just check around and you will find codebreaker cracked for ESR and that will allow BackUp cheating
