I was told there is a program called Code Swamp or Game Swamp that you can load on the PS2 and pause the game during gameplay and it dumps the live data through the ethernet cord on to your PC for you to view it. Supposed to make code hacking a lot easier than with PS2dis. Problem is I searched google for a few hours and just get redirected to look at Swap Magic...has anyone ever heard of this program?

never heard of that thats basically live dumping which there is alreadly codes for it but works some games, the sub routine for live dump might need a tweak so it works on all games

who told you this program? i think it is impossible if you have only a normal ps2 console. live dump just let you have a dumped date on your ps2 memory card rather than ethernet cord.

Someone at my work, he doesn't fully remember where he got the program from because it has been a few years back. When he loads the GameShark disc (any broadband enabled GS) with his PS2 hooked in through the PC to the internet and the GS stays on the title screen, a window pops up on the PC and asks if he wants to find cheats for the current game and another option.

It then prompts him to swap out the GS with the PS2 game and then it searches the game on some data base and then depending on which of the two options he picked an internet explorer window opens and either shows the list of codes for the game or the other option starts the game and everytime you press start it live dumps it all on to the internet explorer window.

The problem is he tried to copy it to a disc and then see if it would run without having to install it so I could have a copy (he doesn't know where the disc is for it so he can't reinstall it) and now it is screwed up, so we are both out of luck at the moment.

i think you should turn to official hacker about this question. non-official hackers know less about such case.

but i guess its not the fact if you search the date only through ethernet cord in terms of I/O.
