ActionReplay on USB key?

Hy! I just registered here.
Is it possible to launch AR on USB key? I have it burn on cd-r. I have SM 3.6 disk. Here's the thing (it's hard to explain this in english), when I got SM pack, one of those tools didn't work fine, on this picture thats tool E

I think you guys know where it goes. So I opened console and I taped down that little "switch" where tool E is suppose to hold down. Because of that I can play games without closing tray and my dvd keeps spinning even when it's open. So I can't use burned AR cuz it keeps spinning when I come to the part where I'm suppose to open tray and insert my game. Thats why I wanna try it with USB key. I did try it, used Ulauncher but I don't know which file starts AR.

Dude! there is a better way of running action replay or codebreaker. Just install fmcb on your memory card and it will softmod your ps2. whenever the memory card is inserted on the ps2 the ps2 will be softmodded otherwise it will work just like the unmodded console. You don't need to open the console or anything else.

For tutorials about installing fmcb just go to bootleg.sksapps.com and go to the tutorials sections and check thier fmcb installing tutorials. Just do a bit of reading and you will be ready to go.

FMCB will let you have a modded console by softmodding, but it doesn't work on the latest ps2 models. So post your model number here first.

You can install fmcb by using your armax disc. I hope this helps

yup. That is right. You can follow that. Now look for the boot method and use the armax guide. for it. then you will be ready to go. It is really cool

But I don't understand this. How can I use AR cheats? In this guide is only Media Player!

Just tell me what you have then I can tell you what to do and which guides to follow.

tell me your ps2 model number
armax version (its evo or not)
and whether you can play backups or not.

And if all of this doesn't help and you feel like if there is a need of a professional or someone who knows what he is doing to do this for you then there is a group of volunteers in the forum to help you out this is the link. You only need to send them your memory card and pay only for the two way transport charges. Thats it.

OK, DEAN, he is throwing the wrong stuff at you here, the link he sent you is just one of the many ways to INSTALL FMCB.
There are several ways to install it , as you might have already read, but if not there is a Link in my signature that explains all the different ways to install FMCB. If you have any trouble, just ask, one of us that's been around a while will help out...

The goal you was wanting to get at was to use cheats?

If so then CodeBreaker is your answer, search google for codebreaker 9.2. then follow the tutorial in the Homebrew section to patch it to work with FMCB, HDL, and ESR. I can't give the link for Codebreaker as that is Copyrighted Material. Google will get you your answers... DJ
