1- As of now there is no way to play burnt bluray and crap
2- 3.60 discs still require you to update, even if you have the original disc

i was on about a console with ofw 3.60...?
and i understand you cant play burnt bluray games, but what i want to know is why it does not allow you to?

Security on the Blu Ray? Security on the File System? Security Boot Sectors? Could be any number of Factors.
Hidden SubChannelData on the disc which cant be replicated using Blu Ray Readers/Writers? (cough cough Original PSX CD's)![]()
thanks for clearing it up for me DAVE
I am just speculating mate. I dont know for sure but there must be some kind of protection on the Original Blu Ray Disc.
i heard somewhere that the Copy Protection of PS3 Disk is called ROM-Mark or something like this.
Dont know if that is true.
//edit:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ROM_Mark
your the first person i have seen who is wants to burn blu-rays and play, cmon man...this is the best way to play games...plug in an USB and play![]()

i dont understand these game-disk-burners either
how could you want to play something of a semi-professional made Disk rather than playing them from a harddrive?
ive heard the guys from x360 or something like this were working on this a few months back but i guess they arent anymore![]()
Now i am happy.
I can Play Wii games form HDD
I can Play PS3 games form HDD
And i can Play 360 games form HDD soon.
Play from HDD save you alot of Money.
Its the best way now.
