Under XBW no Disc icon and can't load any games

Hi There,

I am a new user of this nice Forum and coming with a problem.
A friend of mine used my PS3 for like an half hour and immediatly it's broken....

He put in a original game (Fifa 11) i told him not to update the ps3 but i think he did.
So now my ps3 won't load any games out of multiman.
Multiman says setting last played game data and then goes black for like 5 seconds and then goes back to the xbm\xbc\xbw ... ps3 home screen....
Also no disc icon under games anymore.

Tried Fix permissions and update multiman but won't work.
With the update of multiman i got a new icon inside multiman that says play in system disc [ps3/...] or something like that. wont work eather.

Someone can help me?

What firmware version is showing in the setting? Do you still have 'Install Package Files'? If so, then your PS3 was not updated at least.

if he is able to boot multiman then its not updated.

Firmware 3.55 still have install package files and multiman can still boot.
Tried deleting everything. so blank hd and further no software.
Still can't play an original disc beceause there is no icon to click on.

also when i put a disc in it should start up automatic doesn't it?
