Ok for some reason i forgot the name of this topic and forgot to return here But when i asked how are you booting i ment
are you booting Directaly from MultiMan to the game or are you Booting from MultiMan > It send you back to the XMB and you push app_home/PS3_GAME?
Or are you booting from MultiMan and it send you back to the XMB then you start the game as you would a DISC Game?
MultiMan is the best Manager in my opinion and Rogero comes 2nd i never had any problems with Multi tiz why i only ask about that one
hehe nope, these are promo copies (or Review Copies are sometimes the same) they come from sony themselves and are distributed to Stores or Reviewers to put in Booths at the store to review ofcourse

Would be fun if these were black market stuff, cause then the ps3 would have been hacked years ago, since these version work even far before Jailbreak was out on Official sony firmware.
I own alot of these on Promo (like: GT5, AC:B, GOW3, Heavy Rain)
Never tried the app_home/PS3_GAME Thing, that could work, I always go back to the XMB and then push the DISC game logo like any other game.

I do appreciate these replies and the help alot, Great forum!
I do see that the EU version is very difficult to boot (some people got the EU to work but crashed after certain levels) maybe that's the big issue here who knows ^^
Yea i was having many problems trying to boot Star Ocean: TLH it was also an EU version when i finaly got it to boot it sucked anyway but the story was awesome
Don't promo version require a CD key if there not for resale?
Not that i know of, my girlfriend works for a toy company and she gets them they always work like normal
Ha star ocean was crap indeed a shame though cause past star oceans were pretty cool
