Spiderman Shattered Dimensions

Hey People!.

I've been trying to play spiderman Shattered dimensions ever since it came out but it never worked for me.

I tried interenal, external, but it keeps hanging on the opening screen (with the 2 logos)

I'm on Kmeaw 3.55
managers tried: Gaia (every version since 2.04), Rogero Manager (the last 5 versions), Multiman (every version since 1.13)

Fixed permissions, direct boot, patching.
tried it all but it never goes further then the opening screen.

Now I see people here saying it worked for them but never how exactly

I checked paths and everthing...all seems fine

Anybody know how to fix this one?

How exactly are you running the game?

Direct boot is bad it "Usually" messes things up

are you direct booting or do you have a CD in the drive at all times?

Always with a disc in the drive, I never got a game to work without and I really don't see the problem of having a disc in the drive so yeah XD

Let me put more specs:

1st Gen PS3 (60GB+PS2 support)
3.55 Kmeaw CFW
Lacie 500 GB External
Standard 60 GB Internal Drive

Managers:
Gaia 2.07
Multiman 1.16
Rogero 8.0

Utilities:
Lvl2 V9
Fix Permissions

I tried every possible combination
internal -> Gaia/multi/rogero + -> Hang
internal -> LVL2 -> Gaia/multi/rogero + -> Hang
internal -> LVL2 + Fix Permissions -> Gaia/multi/rogero + -> Hang
internal -> multi -> select+x -> Hang

external -> Gaia/multi/rogero + -> Hang
external -> LVL2 -> Gaia/multi/rogero + -> Hang
external -> LVL2 + Fix Permissions -> Gaia/multi/rogero + -> Hang
external -> multi -> select+x -> Hang

Try re-backuping...the only thing that I can think of is installing a PKG that will run the game.

I was looking at some other sites and people are reporting that the game works on external.

I'll try that, maybe it has something to do because my original is a Promo version ?
I dont see why since my other promo versions work fine after backing up.

USB external only, no updates, no online, no DLC, USA version only. Last known working copy was on 3.41 with all original files, should work on 3.55 kmeaw's cfw.

Aahh see there lies the problem i think, mine is a EU version of the game ahh well then this is one game i can backup but not play of backup yet thnx for the help

lol...this maybe a SUPER STUPID idea but this is how i got my GT5 working. Why dont you download the eboot.bin for the USA version of the game and replace it with the EUR version and then try running it. may or may-not work but hey you waited all this time downloading and trying to run it, just 1 more try wouldn't hurt.

Hmm, I could try that yes.

Just for the record, I never downloaded the Games I do own these games original, even though theire Promo Versions.

Now I believe Promo versions are full retail copies, but they come without disc prints and box. (usually I get them in Transparent CD boxes)

Promo versions? Never heard of that. Sounds like a black market copy.
