My legal backup will not work

Ok this has become wildly frustrating. I followed the guide on this site exactly about installing the CFW (previously had Geohotz 3.55).

Everything worked flawlessly of course. I have a ton of PKGs installed. I also have the lvl2 PKG v3 installed.

So I used Rogero Manager 7.8 and took my copy of Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection and copied it with Rogero to my PS3's internal HDD. Then I try to launch said copy from the HDD in Rogero and it simply black screens and takes me back to the XMB. Multiman does this as well.

I even reformatted my entire PS3, reinstalled my PKGs, re-copied my game, and it WILL NOT launch from any backup manager.

What am I doing wrong?

Ive got the SEGA Genesis Ultimate Collection on my PS3. Didnt work before when I was on 3.41 JB and still doesnt work on 3.55 CFW with L2.PKG and Rogero.

Does this game simply not work with the current backup managers?

um.. you know that you have to run PS3/App_home -whatever or the Disk after loading the game?
When i backed up AC2 and Fifa 11 and then loaded em in Rogero but it kicks me to XMB after the 10th try i was like "WTF R U kidding me??" Then i wanted to install Gaia but pushed up to long so i landed on PS3/App_home (?) and not on Install Package, pressed X and AC2 showed up i looked like -> http://s1.jappy.tv/i/sm/eek.gif
Also the Disc shows as the game you loaded in the BM

Only a few games support direct launch (at the moment)
