Mortal Kombat Transferring Problem
Mortal Kombat Transferring Problem –
I'm using exactly the same method for this as i have for everything else, ie: blackb0x FTP v1.2 to internal HDD (Kmeaw's 3.55) and for some reason during the process blackb0x reboots back to the XMB thus cancelling the transfer, i have tried it multiple times with the same result & don't have problems with anything else (and it isn't a corrupt download) anyone got any ideas what is causing this?
i dont know, but did u installed the pkg first?
Wasn't aware you had to do this first (no mention of this in the read me) but thanks for the suggestion, i will give it a try & report back (if anyone is interested)

Shame, i was really looking forward to ripping some spines out, but until some bright person fixes this i guess it's off limits for me.. c'est la vie!
That's a lengthy process....might want to try this method here:
Reason why I say it's lengthy because file transferring over the net versus a direct connection uses up your bandwidth.
I'm neither black nor white....so don't be disappointed when you can't find me in a box of Crayola's!
I highly doubt its the connection from your router, since the W-Lan regulates the stream on roughly 2mbyte per second (atleast thats a maximum what you can get with your w-lan connection). Or it might be just me but if I stream or transfer files via Flash FXP then I simply cant get above 1,1 mbyte per second (from pc to PS3)
So either you should try openftp (or another ftp program) or simply transfer via external HDD or direct cable.
For the record, i have tried openftp & smart ftp exactly the same thing happens ie: everything starts to transfer fine and then after about 2-3 mins the connection is lost.
Have you tried some other files, quite with the same amount of used space? just out of curiousity, ive transfered like 2 or 3 games 12gb+ from pc to internal and external over ps3 and not a single issue.
