having issues running this game.... need some help!

when I run it from internal and update to 1.06 (current update which was made before 3.56+)

it just stalls at the loading menu and keeps loading over and over again

when I run it on 1.00 it runs fine however runs poorly and is buggy

I had it going before on 1.05 but I cant find a package for that update anywhere

what are my options to play this game above 1.00 ?

Have you done any mods to the common.rpf or ps3.rpf somewhere inside /PS3_GAME/USRDIR in the past? Because you normally get the infinite loading screens by modding the game and using the latest 1.06 (It has some checks in it to make sure the files are the same as the original.) Or it could be a bad rip, maybe a file didn't copy over but the game doesn't really need it but the patch checks it maybe.

Anyway the 1.06 patch defiantly works with a backup. I have it included in my garage mod I made. http://psx-scene.com/forums/f276/%5B...v1-2-a-101889/ Download it if you like. Even if you don't want the mod (All you will see is "ModManager" in the phone). Because I've patched in no cd support. It might help you.

If not I would backup your game again then try it.

yeah it is a rip ive done directly from my copy of the game...

no mods or anything

I have yet to try actually running it from the disc and not internal

or trying it external on a usb... this will be my next step

however it is a greatest hits copy... that might be what the issue is....

I had the same issue with the same disc on another machine, but at the time was able to download a 1.5 patch and now I cannot find it anywhere.

I wonder if id be better off downloading a bootleg original copy from torrents.
