Gaia and GT5 doesnt work?! And 1 question about Game Ripper (yes Im new) –
first of all Im absolutely new to all this jb stuff (since earlier today --> damn wasting a saturday :P ) so dont kill me if I've missed something obvious.
Im running a slim (250gb) - CECHZC2E - kmeaw 3.55
I tried to backup GT 5 (I own the original disc) with latest version of gaia (2.07) but it simply wont work. Got some other original game disc in the optical and the game is stored to internal.
Didnt changed anything related to eboot (no idea why or for what this is lol). But the realy mysterious thing is if I check the path via blackboxftp I cant find the game in dev0 -->Games oO....
My first copy I've done so far is Turning Point (but with multiman 1.16) and its in this GAMES folder on the internal and works perfect -->starting via XMB and a disc inside.
What did I missed here? Is gaia using some different way to store the backups than MM does (and do I need to start the game via XMB aswell)?
And I've done a backup from GT with MM earlier to my external just to try to rip it a bit with Game Ripper..but somehow I cant rip anything. Only parts Im getting to rip are 3 Vids but if I click on rippear some weired window opens with awful german language (ISO riss richtig genießen??). No idea what this means. Is the game not "made" for rips then?
Sorry if I made some noob misstakes here since Im not totaly involved into all this (but hey already got 10 nes games on the console running :P )... So thanks in advance for any helpful tips.
//e: I just saw the backup from GT5 done with MM has an underscore before the BCES00569-[Gran Turismo 5]...whats up with that?
//e2: Backup done with MM on internal, but still game wont start oO. Going via XMB or not, still the game from the disc inside starts if I click the game icon. Seems I have to do some major research here :/
//e3: Maybe its of interest that I have the gamefiles installed (the normal installation you geting asked for, before starting the game for the first time -->somehow 8gb)
Ok works now. I just used a new user account. Didnt worked with the one where I had GT5 installed (legal installation -->under //e3)
