Hi i got a weird problem, I can transfer files from the PS3 at 30MB/s but when i try to transfer files back to the PS3 it only averages 2MB/s to 5MB/s so it is painfully slow, I have PC and PS3 set to gigabit full duplex over lan going through a belkin gigabit router, Is the PS3 hard drive that slow maybe?

Anyways i was making a backup of Final Fantasy XIII, First i used Multiman to copy the files to the internal HDD then i FTPd the files to PC I have no bluray drive in PC, That went fast going from PS3 to PC, Then i used Raw Games installer on it and proceeded to copy the files back and bang it took ages to copy it back being over 40GB, Any way to speed this up? At least the game works so i did something right,

One question about Raw Games Installer, Did i have to ftp the games back to the PS3 or could i of just copied the Files Multiman ripped to the correct path in the PS3 and just installed the pkg file that Raw Games Installer created because that would be 25x faster for me? Does it actually modify the files itself or just make a package file?

Oh and im on FW355 with brand new PS3 Slim 320gb version, Only 3 days old came with firmware 3.40 but i decided to upgrade anyway. I'm still debating if i want to keep it or return it to store lol.
