External HDD Backups problem.
External HDD Backups problem. –
I tried to install backups games on my external HDD ofcourse detected by my ps3.
Anyway , when i make the PKG file with RAWGameInstaller ( I selected the option for the external HDD ) i patch it for my external HDD but when i install it on my PS3 , i always find the files on my PS Hard Disk and not on the external.
How can i resolve ?

and which ones are better for backing up games external or internal? i know externals are cheaper but if internals are better i would rather buy an internal than.
All HDs on the PS3 will perform the same. The only difference is that if you use the drive as an internal, you can use files bigger than 4GB. Externals at present need to be formatted in FAT32 which has the 4GB limit.
If getting an external, get a USB powered one. Just plug in one cable and enjoy.
It's the same between Internal and External , backups work the same way .

It works fine , and btw every HDD works if formatted with fat32 .
If the fat32 formattation doesn't appear in the menu when you try to format your external i know the solution .
Well , buy an external , it's the same thing and it's cheaper.
I give you and advice : Buy a Western Digital ; u won't have problems.
I dont have any limits with my external , i upload games up to 8gb or more .

Thanks for the help.
