Call of duty: black ops on 3.41 discless –

Hi guys, im on 3.41 hermes cfw. Just dl COD Black Ops but and Ftpped it over to my internal hdd. Apparently its not as simple as playing fifa 11 and you need extra steps to to run it on 3.41. I came acorss this thread (collection of signed ps3 pkg for 3.41/3.55) and downloaded the COD BO pkg file. Do I simply install the pkg file and then run the game from Gaia Manager 1.4? There is a 'game' folder next to the pkg inside the archive as well which contains two folders (BLES01031 and CODBOBOOT). What are these for??? The instructions file is really confusing especially as its called 'How to install - campaign only' and looks like its not the main instruction file (it reads - Could not get it to work with the original instructions, don't know if i was doing something wrong, but my way definitely works but campaign only)!
New to this so please go easy on me. Cant thank this forum enough for all the help I've got uptil now since I jailbroke my ps3 from scratch!
Will appreciate step wise instructions...

O.K first thing you need to do is update to 3.55 and change your back up manager. Its a similar process to putting CFW on 3.41. The main advantage to having a 3.55 CFW is that booting the newer games don't need to go through the hassle of patching, take COD:BO for example. And the second advantage is that more apps are getting released for this firmware especially multiMan as it is updated regularly. To get COD:BO booting up on 3.55 you would need these things. Number one priority being 3.55 CFW(NEWB FRIENDLY CUSTOM FIRMWARE) The second priority being a back up manager recommended is multiMan. Now transfer over the file to your internal hard drive without patching or doing any work from multiMan and you are good to go. That's how you get it running. Hope this helps.

even if he had the original game he still would have to update the ps3 -.- if you don't have something productive to share with the comunity, don't "talk" at all!

it is productive... because if he owned the game, there IS an eboot for v3.41. but he failed in more than one way - he FAILED to read the rules; he FAILED to use the search function; he FAILED at being a wannabe thief. you can politely take your own garbage out yourself. thanks

the "use" is being able to make a BACKUP of his game so he can preserve the original disc. another "use" would be so he would be able to play the BACKUP from the hdd so he can preserve the bluray laser...
