Backup managers appear to work, but do not load game

Hello all,

Just a quick background, I originally was on GH 3.55, but I installed OFW (in recovery) and then installed kmeaw 3.55 (via system update). I also loaded the lvl2 patcher and ran both Gaia and Multiman.

I'm currently testing with AC brotherhood (which I had working on GH 3.55). I FTP'd the game folder and original EBOOT.BIN to the GAMES directory under hdd0/GAMES. AC shows up fine in both managers, and I am able to launch the game with no apparent errors.

When it goes back to the XMB, however, it does not load the game to /app/PS3_GAME/ folder, which I am familar with from the 3.41 JB days. I am pretty much stumped and not sure how to resolve this issue. I may try to re-install the OFW and try a different patched PUP for kmeaw. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I a similar problem to you have you been able to fix it?

after kmeaw you have to install gh again and spp/home aint working yet put a random disc in your ps3 to boot the backup

I never had to install geohot on kmeaw for backups to work. U just need to have a game in the drive at the moment.

oh yea tht was wutang ....lol yea no need to install gh just try the other options

you need to have a (any) original game disc in the ps3 when you select "play" in your manager

I have my call of duty black ops disk in and when i hit play for gran turismo 5 it doesnt work it just brings me back to the xmb and nothing changed no game to play.
