    I,
I have exactly the same configuration you had in the first post because my product ID and vendor are the same as yours

    0x152d:0x2329:1

when I press START + triangle the PS3 freezes... I am using a Toshiba 40 GB Ps3 Original as a NTFS disk and I am using it in a Cooler Master Xport 251 External Drive Enclosure... do you think is an Enclosure problem? the file is with the right information and in the correct USDIR folder of Multiman... can you help me?

the USB.CFG has to be in all UPPERCASE. I've tried with usb.cfg and my multiman freeze but when I rename to USB.CFG, it works !!

    Hi all,
having the same issues as some of the above posters. Have checked and rechecked and am on the latest MultiMan and keeps freezing when searching for my NTFS drive. Have even tried another drive (with a changed USB.CFG of course) and same issues

Yeap, i'm having the same problems too. I have everything right and it freezes on the scanning. I have an enermax usb powered external case ('The Brick') with the 2.5" drive out of the ps3 in there (cause i upgraded years ago ). Tried both ports on the front (PS3 FAT) no joy. If anyone has any suggestions i'm all for it, but i'm guessing either certain usb/sata controllers dont work or certain ps3's have problems.

make sure you guys are named the file USB.CFG, if it is not capitalized it will not work and will freeze. Also there is nothing wrong with the tutorial, Multiman has been giving some problems lately with some users, most of you are freezing while it searches, before i could transfer games from ntfs to hdd, after i updated the multiman to 1.18(i think) or end of 1.17, when i try to transfer games, it freezes.

But it detects all my games, but cannot transfer any files. So many updates and goodies, Dean must have overlooked something.
