Download Stuff from PSN Store at Full Speed
Download Stuff from PSN Store at Full Speed –

The Welcome Back Package brings a few interesting games with it, but also veeery low download speeds (sometimes around 6kb/s).
So what I'm gonna show you now is how to set up your PS3 and PSN DM to download big games like InFamous at full speed! It's pretty easy so even all yo noobs out there can do it
Download v 3.92 from Jailbreakscene.com
Setup
First we need the URL of the PKG (the game)
My network is set up like this (done with Paint)

(You don't directly need to connect your PS3 with your PC!)
Follow these steps:
1. Start your PS3, go to Networksettings
2. Configure your connection, (choose custom!), if you already have set up yours and it works fine just press right, right, right,... until it asks you if you want to use a proxy server! Press use
Here comes the hardest part
3. Start the Internal IP.bat located in your PSN DM folder
4. Look for the IP of your PC, you can also do this with the configuration page of your router but its easier this way.

If you have that, go back to your PS3 and type it in.. Portnumber MUST be "27"

If you figure this out you are a pro!
(Note: You will be disconnected from PSN.)
5. Finish the configuration, don't waste your time and skip the test.
Now start "PSN DM.exe". The devs were clever and added an adflylink at the startup of the app, so they get money when people start it up
. Skip it, also close the pop-up.
Now start/resume a download from the PSN.
In the download-tab from the PSN DM, some random letters and numbers will appear and the download will start.
The Problem!
The downloadspeed will lower down after some time. In my oppinion, too much so what I've done is downloading Internet Downlaod Manager and use it to download the game.
Here comes the serious haXing!
Go to the log of the PSN DM, you will see the full URL of the PKG. Select and copy it.

Now open Internet Download Manager, go to the settings and choose the Connection - tab.

There, select your connections type (I've used LAN, if you use W-LAN choose it from the list.) and the amount of connections to the server. I've maxed it out to "16" for the best speed.
Press OK, start a new download, paste the copied URL and wait ... (don't forget to pause the download at PSN DM!!)
Installing the downloaded PKG
At this point I want to thank Jordan D. from the http://pixolia.org/ Live Support.
As you may know PSN DM has already started to download the PKG, so open the Download-folder in the PSN DM directory, find the uncompleted PKG of the game. For that, copy the filename of the FULLY downloaded PKG from (in my case) Internet Download Manager and use the Windows Explorer's searchfunction to locate the place where the PKG has to be located. Replace the PKG their with the full PKG and create a new text-document in the same folder as the PKG.
the name has to be:
ready_NameOfThePKG.pkg(.txt) dont change the filetype of the document
Then restart the download at the PSN Store, it should now look like the games will be downloaded again while it just gets copied from your PC to the PS3.
Sometimes you have to install it manually afterwars from the Game-tab in the XMB.

Now enjoy downloading from the PSN at fullspeed!
If you think this helped, give the chick in my signature a +REP
NOTES
You could also just let the PSN DM download and install the game almost automatically, but I think this is the best way.
If you get an errormessage (80710D36) just retry over and over again.
If needed I will add more notes here.

Seriously I would've died without this tutorial right now, but.. umm.. Wirelessly transferring the downloaded file onto the playstation is taking waaayy too long [let's just say I don't have a stable electricity system and the light goes out very often]. Can't I transfer the games from the computer onto the PS3 through some wired method so it can move quickly enough?
Please help

Sorry for MY late reply this time. [Had no idea someone would actually reply]
Umm, one ethernet wire from the modem to the computer [obviously] and the other wire from the computer to the ps3?
And if I'm doing this whole thing as a wired setup, then, do I have to change anything in the settings? [I mean does it become any different than in the tutorial?]
Thank you like SO very much!
