This is a way to reproduce the effects of the dns trick on your machine, so if they will stop working you can do it yourself.
First of all download & install paros a multiplatform proxy server wth some nice features.
start it and go to Options->Local proxy
and write in the adress your local ip(ur ps3 and pc must be connected to the same router)
You can get it typing(for windows) ipconfig /all on a command windows.
Now go to the tab Trap and check "Trap response".
Got to the ps3. Internet options and configure manually your connection.
Setup the proxy settings with your IP(the one you entered in paros) and 8080 as port.
Go on and at the end of the configuration test your connection.
DURING THE TEST go to paros and you'll se that it grabbed somethin like this:
Change the bold parts of the string to 3.5500 and click continue. Unchek Trap response and enjoy psn.Quote:
