Otheros++ and emulators

I wasnt able to find this anywhere but i thought i recalled hearing about this earlier. Is it possible to run 3d emulators on linux through the new 0theros++ because if so we can run the wii emulator on our ps3 today with controller mapping.

i believe it is not possible, you may run old school emus such as NES or SNES... but i could be wrong...
