You can't use any homebrew now as you have updated to OFW 3.56, wait till a 3.56 CFW comes along
You realize you just screwed yourself by installing 3.56, there's no way to put any custom firmware on it now as there's heavier protection on that revision, meaning it's highly unlikely there will be any time soon. So, for you, that means no custom firmware, no homebrew, no linux. That's why people say don't just update blindly. Learn to read up on what's going on before doing so.![]()
Thats doesnt saund good.If i find someone with older frimeware version, can i format my hdd and then clone that one to mine? What frimeware version are hacked to run Linux?
No, firmware is not stored on the HD. You cannot do anything now until/if another CFW for 3.56 comes along.
You could swap your PS3 for your mates maybe? If they are not bothered about homebrew
@RazorNapster, Bummer dude, I know what will help> buy a console still on 3.55, might help out a bit lol. No CFW for 3.56 for the foreseeable future.
