Anyone know if linux is running on Geohot 3.55?

Anyone know if Linux is running on geohot 3.55 cfw? Or if you have seen anything related online can you post it here? I am really interested in getting Linux back on my system!

What ever happened with the asbestos project?

all it really need is for someone to turn it into a pkg file and have an eboot modified some how to install onto the HDD

This is really annoying...
The whole purpose of jailbreaking was to bring otheros back to the phats, and hopefully bring it to slims too. Seems like since then the whole community has been derailed into a scene filled with nothing but pirates and boot managers. Has anyone been working on linux? It seems like everyone is just happy being able to play games for free.

Failoverflow had a ps3 slim on linux, where's our linux option??? If all asbestos needs is to be packaged, why isn't it done yet. When the jailbreak dongles first came out the question from everyone was "When will I have linux back?" Now it's "Where do I download games from, how do I run them, and is it safe to play stolen games online?" I, for one, am getting annoyed. I don't want to downgrade to 3.15 to use linux, then upgrade to 3.55 to play games, then downgrade back to 3.15 and have to re-install linux all over again.

I thought with all this commotion in the scene we'd have linux running in gameos with full access to the video card by now. Screw emulators ported to ps3, run them in linux! But everyone's just concerned with getting online with pirated games. Pathetic...

Sry for ranting, but this shit is irritating me.
