There is never going to be a CFW 3.60

According to hackinblack (or Waninkoko) on his Twitter, there will never be a 3.60 CFW. Sad news for people who updated.

Damn im ******g happy that i didnt updated my ps3 with fw 3.56 due to old appartement with 500kbit connection and 3 ppl sharing his connection. this must have been destiny or some higher might forcing me to sit around and moaing about ****** internet and on the other side didnt updated due to slow downloading speed etc. thank "god"

This is not a surprise. All the current devs capable of creating cfw are holding out for $ony to release a new firmware that actually has new features. Anyone that's on 3.60 got there out of their own free will, they JUST found out about the scene, or they're on it because of stupidity from either themselves or their relatives/friends. Anyone that chose to go to 3.60 to get online, guess what; it was your choice that you cared more about PSN than homebrew, now suffer the consequences and stop b*tching. I don't want a 3.60 cfw released at all, it's not needed. The only people it would benefit are the same people that would jump ship again the moment another firmware came out. Rinse and repeat. Guys, this scene is following the iPhone scene more and more everyday. There's no reason to release an exploit $ony can patch for the few people that want/need it, especially since the majority of those people aren't loyal to the homebrew scene to begin with. There's NO REASON to WASTE those exploits when the MAJORITY of homebrew users will reap more benefits in the future if those exploits are not released until they are needed. Now, a PSN workaround is another story. That should be released as soon as possible.

you can never say never. Just because they cant do it doesnt mean that someone else wont. Doesnt really matter to me since I didnt update but im pretty sure we will see one eventually. Im kinda glad there isnt one yet, Im just starting to get 3.55 setup the way I want it

all we need is a downgrade option for 3.56+ we dont need 3.60cfw. psn+ mod is naughty, get 1 3.55/41 and one 3.60 and you will stop cursing ;-)
