Fallout New Vegas Cheats?

I have been playing New Vegas for some time and now i am stuck in hover dam where i am not able to go back or kill the bad guy to proceed.... so i need cheats to be enabled to proceed further(propably unlimited health).... I downloaded the cheat enabler

but the default option dont have new Vegas game and i am not sure how to create a new one. Any help is much appreciated. Any tutorial?

making cheats is not an easy thing, unless you have serious hacking and hex files knowledge, editing the eboot for your own cheats is gonna be a bit difficult. Anyway, maybe you can try and find the cheats online yourself, we get ours from codemastersprojects. Once you find a cheat you need to go to the CheatDb(you will need microsoft access manager) that comes with the cheat enabler, then you need to:
1.Make a new table

2.Make 3 columns called ModName,SearchVal,ReplaceVal and rename the first numbering column to Order and number each cheat as you fill in the database.

3.In ModName you need to write the cheat name and if there is any specific thing to the cheat then write it in brackets. For E.g. Max Health (do not use with Max armor) or something like that.

4.When you find cheats for games eboot, it will give you a search value and a replace value, copy and paste the search hex value in SearchVal and do the same for the replace value you find with the cheat and put it in the ReplaceVal column.

5. Keep adding cheats for a game, once your done close the table and it will ask you to save, remember to save the game name with no spaces even between numbers. For E.g. DeadSpace2<---write it like that and save it.

6.Finally remember to input the game's name in the GameIndex table, you can find it from the list of tables on the left side of the Access.

Then just close the Database and save it and you are all done. Open the CheatApp and if you did everything correctly it will show you the game and its cheats. Then its the same process as for any game.

Hope i helped, and also remember cheats may and may not work because some are not tested, some are for specific regions etc. So it cannot be our cheat app's problem.

ive done it twice. the first time it took me ages. i lay down mines everywere so that wen i was retreting him and his compaions would walk over them crippleing there legs and reducing their ability to catch me with melee weapons. then i just used every weapon in my arsenal to kill him. this was very time consuming and because of the inconsistancey in the game every time i retryed this it was differnt. it was a matter of time and patients to get it right. however i did hav the backpacker perk and high strength so i was able to carry an endless amount of mines which i never reli used up until this point of the game which payed off. the 2nd time i did not hav this endless amount of mines. as id played the game completely differntly obviously to pick up differnt storylines and achievments. this time i had a stealthboy, some steady and the stuff that gives u more vats. on ur way up hoverdam u will pick up many rare and leathal weapons. i recommened the anti-material rifle. even after u enter the legion camp u are able to return to hover dam. so make ur way back down it and collect as many anti-material rifles as possible and repair them as much as u can. also pick up anything that will aid you health wise.then go in and clear out the camp before u head up to fight lagate lanius. after clearing the camp. make sure you are out of site and apply the stealth boy, followed by steady and then the stuff that increases ur vat. crouch and make ur way up to lagate lanius until u can get him into site. then use ur vats and blow his head off. this worked in 1 shot for me.collect what u want from his body. depending on how you hav played ur campaing it isnt over there. SAVE YOUR GAME AT THIS POINT. as if you have pissed the NCR off you will end up in a stand off with some very tough NCR. but if your barter and speach is extremly high you should be able to talk ur way out. but dont count on it. please reply if either of these hav worked for you.
