Region locked gameshere

Hi, Guys.

Sometimes some games are states ''U.S'' but they are region free and can be used for E.U consoles. I was wondering if that is the case for all recent games (from 2010 up to now)?

I really want to play Madden NFL 11 and fight night round 4 but there are no E.U versions of it.

that totally depends on your console, the first ps3's ever made came with region lock..and some did not, like the 60gb and 80gb models. All the consoles now are region free(i think), so if you have a region free console then you got nothing to worry about. incase you dont you will need to make it region free but editing the xRegistry.sys file, but i cant guarantee if that will work.

I have Slim 250GB. I'm guessing that is Region free

mostly it is..check your box, it should have a 1,2,3 numbers...on globes joined together....that means its region free..sadly bluray movies dont come like dat

If you mean the box and not the console. It says B 2 2 pal. With global map on both the 2's.

yea its fine...your not region locked...

All PS3s are region specific, its the PS3 games that are not region locked. I mean, for DVD movies and ps1/2 games and all the stuff that are region locked will be region locked on the PS3 as well. The PS3 games don't have the locks so far maybe in the future, that I don't know.
