Open PS2 Loader Question

Hey I found http://opl.psx-scene.com/ and was wondering if someone could answer a small question for me. Does this work for the 80GB PS3 models that don't have EE?

Not quite sure, but would say no as it says it's for backwards compatible ps3s (with the EE).
