How come if i transfer from multiman to hd then hd to external files are split ? Yet if i copy direct from multiman direct to external i can play ok? So far i did black ops 18 gig and wkc 10 gig to my 250gig external and both play as normal.. Next i have copied psn games over to my external. They were hidden files so used usb show to see them and now they are always visable. These file are not bles but npea with 5 numbers like bless games. Obviously these dont show in multiman as they are hidden files, yet i see them in codegenies awesome manager ! Is there anyway to play these from my external ? Is there any homebrew i can use which will show these files? thx

    Yes, you can.
Locate and FTP psn-game to your PC (hdd0/game/NPUB30017).
Create PS3_GAME folder and PS3_DISC.SFB file (change the game ID inside).
Put the content of NPUB30017 folder into PS3_GAME folder.
Put PS3_GAME folder and PS3_DISC.SFB into a new folder called NPUB30017.
Put NPUB30017 folder into you external HDD (GAMES/).
Now multiMAN will read the game.

    Okay here goes:
    1. Copy the game folder (NPUBXXXXX) from your ps3 to your external hard drive (sounds like you already figured out how to do this) using the filemanager, multiman etc.
    2. Connect your external to your computer. Now you have to put the game into the correct format. Find your games folder, could be GAMES or GAMEZ. And set your game up as follows:
    GAMES
    -----NPUBXXXXX
    ----------PS3_GAME
    ---------------USRDIR
    ----------PS3DISC.SFB
Now some explanation. Put the game files you got off the ps3 into the PS3_GAME folder (eg. USRDIR, icon.png) And open the PS3DISC.SFB that was linked earlier into a text editor and replace NPUB30017 with whatever your game's id is, save and put into the GAMES/NPUBXXXXX folder. Now you should be able to run it in multiman. And just so you know I had no idea you could even do this before I read the post above, with a little knowledge I figured it out :P

I too am trying to get this working on my sons PS3, but no joy so far. Copying the psn title to external is easy enough but it still shows up as corrput data on XMB. Can anyone elaborate on these instructions or provide a more comprehensive tutorial?

Just so you know I have edited the SFB file to suit, I can see the game in MM no problem but once I launch it I just get a corrupt data icon in XMB
