Agreed. It was ridiculous how Geohot said he was leaving the scene forever, and then when someone was going to release the 4.1 jailbreak for iPhone he 'magically reappeared' with a new Jailbreak.

If you know how to do it, DO it. If I had the know how to reverse engineer something like this I'd definitely be interested in releasing it. Or maybe Math is just waiting for someone to come close to releasing it to 'decide' to do it, just like GeoHot.

I would do the same thing if I was him.

Although some may believe it isn't right to charge this much, to be honest the guys at PS Jailbreak did what hundreds of hackers tried and failed to do for several years... If they want to make a buck out of it, they should be able to.

Math probably believed that all jailbreaks should be free, so it's understandable how he released PSGroove. However, PS Downgrade isn't a jailbreak. If he reversed this, the already frustrating cat/mouse game with Sony would become a lion*/cat/mouse game: Sony being the lion, PSJ being the cat, and the hackers being the mouse.

Plus, Math is clearly against piracy, and although this isn't piracy, it's getting pretty darn close.

If a lion sees a cat in the jungle, beleive me it will chase and eat the cat. Same thing goes for the mouse. So your anolagy was very correct.
So:
If Sony (the lion) sees a cat or mouse (PSJ, hackers -Math) in the jungle (Sony's territory i.e the ps3), it will chase and try and eat the cat and have the mouse for desert

i hope some one can release the hex for all jail break sticks to downgrade to 3.40 many people have version 3.50 due to call of duty black ops ...so am stuck with it untill some one release's it ..lets hope it comes soon
