Hello,
Im an absolute beginner and even though im trying to get knowledge about the JB its very hard, because there are so many things i dont understand^^.
So I wanted to know, if its possible on my ps3, which is PS3 Slim CECH-2004A 120 GB Version.
And what i need for it (like a special usb stick etc.).
Also if its possible to remove it, when i dont need it(like the JB Stick)
I have the PS3 FW 3.55

Sorry if my questions are asked to often, but i couldnt amke sense out of the threads, maybe because im not an english native speaker^^.

Im currently copying a game to my usb i dont know why, but when i try it on my internal hdd he gives me a error message.
But I have a question, can i log in to the PSN without trouble or a ban danger?
And also if i can play games online?

1. INSTALL GAIA MANAGER AND MULTIMAN.
2. INSTALL LV2 V6 (IF U R USING CUSTOM FIRMWARE)
3. FORMAT UR USB PEN DRIVE OR HARD DRIVE IN FAT32 FORMAT.
4. INSIDE UR USB DRIVE MAKE A FOLDER CALLED 'GAMEZ' ALL CAPITAL LETTER.
5. INSIDE 'GAMEZ' FOLDER U HAVE TO MAKE ANOTHER FOLDER WITH UR GAME ID.

DON'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE A GAME ID FOLDER
1. MOST OF DOWNLOADED GAMES COMES WITH GAME ID LIKE THIS BCES00510 OR BCES-00510
2. SOME FILE U DOWNLOAD AS A ISO OR RAR THEN ALL U HAVE TO DO IS EXTRAXT THEN INTO FOLDER.
3. SOME GAME COMES WITH GAMES NAME GOD OF WAR III
4.EASYEST WAY TO FILN A GAME ID IS INSTALL 'Open Manager Tool' ON UR PC AND JUST ADD GAME FOLDER
5. IF U DOWNLOAD GAMES IT'S COMES WITH GAME NAME AND U DON'T KNOW WHICH ONE FILES AND FOLDER U HAVE TO PUT IN UR USB DRIVE U
HAVE TO OPEN UR GAME FOLDER
6.THEN WHERE U WILL SEE THIS THREE FILE AND FOLDER.
I.PS3_GAME
II.PS3_UPDATE
III.PS3_DISC.SFC
REMEMBER PS3_UPDATA U MIGHT NOT FIND IN EVERY GAME U DOWNLOAD.
COPY ALL THIS TO UR GAMES ID FOLDER. LIKE THIS E:GAMEZ/BCES-00510/
7. OPEN PS3_DISC.SFC WITH NOTEPAD THERE U WILL SEE TITLE_ID BCES-00510. BCES-00510 IS UR GAME ID.

PSN IS BLOCKED BY SONY ON CUSTOM FIRMWARE.IT WILL SAY U NEED TO UDTADE FIRMWARE AND IF U UPDATE U CONSOLE WILL NO LONGER JAILBROKEN. IF U CAN'T LOG IN ON PSN U CAN'T PLAY ONLINE.

Ok got it and it worked

I read somehwere about the dns trick, so i used it and i can log onto the PSN, but is it safe?
can sony detect my cfw when im using the dns trick?

Why think about that after you already install CFW on your PS3? At the moment nothing is 100% safe when your network cable is plugged into the broadband modem. Even even less safe if you playing online.
