i have just got a ps break but have no idea what software to get to put on a usb stick and where to get it from! plz help cheers

You should have saved your cash and downloaded a custom firmware for free. A little reading/research before purchase would have saved you plenty.

The best thing is to keep that away for downgrading purposes, you don't need it now a days.....just follow this tutorial and you will get the hang of jailbreaking in no time. Here is the latest,greatest and safest tutorial:-
