Help! Using 3.55 jb on 3.41

Then install geohots 3.55 FW

or if you want a more direct approach hit up geohot.com

If you have done all that correctly you now have a jailbreak

Can I update to the OFW from a storage device instead for internet, AND can I play cracked games from 3.55 and Will I need a USB dongle or not???

Moreover is 3.55 jb support online gaming ??

But the problem is that i can't update it from 3.41 to 3.55, i keep getting an error. and the update 3.55 is unmodded

Have you tried updating from the internet? and as of now, there is no way to boot back up games unless your using eboot patch method which isn't that hard.

But i can't update the ps3 from 3.41 to 3.50/3.55, it keeps saying data corrupt

Maybe because you downgraded the ps3 first, so you'll have to downgrade to another version, then update.

THEN DO THIS STEP

VERYVERY IMPORTANT

If your PS3 is currently turned on, simply turn it off by pressing the power button on the front once.
Turn your PS3 back on BUT hold the power button until it turns off automatically.
Now, boot your PS3 into recovery mode by holding the power button until you hear two beeps at a time
Connect your controller as the screen should tell; you will now see the recovery menu. Select 'System Update'
Make sure your storage device containing the PS3UPDAT.PUP in PS3/UPDATE is connected and press SELECT+STA RT on
your controller. Follow the instructions on the screen.

REMEMBER PUT SONY OFFICIAL FIRMWARE ON UR PEN DRIVE
LIKE THIS G:PS3/UPDATA
AND INSTALL IT FIRST IF U HAVE NOT INSTALL IT YET AFTER INSTALL OFFICIAL FIRMWARE.
DO THIS STEP
And now update your PS3 firmware as normal via XMB.
Note: If you get a error saying that your already at the latest update and it kicks you out, then you need to
update your PS3 CFW via RECOVERY mode
I got that error first time going through so I went ahead via recovery menu to complete the process.
Now that CFW is installed its time to get the backup managers to work.
