Doubts about Jailbreak ( Fw3.55 ) !

I have already read the news at PSGroove and a lot of topics and stuffs here in the forum, before create this topic. But im noob at it, so if i ask something that is obvious or already answared sorry.

1- I have the original Fw3.55, if I want to jailbreak, its just download the geohot 3.55jb firmware and continue by the normal steps, right ?

2- Ive read minutes ago, about a "Raw Games Installer", I still dont know how it really works, but with this, its possible to play backup games in Fw3.55 ?

3- Lets suppose that I installed now, the Fw3.55jb, if tomorrow Sony comes with a Fw3.6 (just an expample) and so geohot comes with a 3.6jb how do I update it ?

4- Is it reversible ? How ?

5- How much space does usually a game occupies from HD in a backup proccess ?

6- Is it possible to make the backup at an external drive (like an Ipod) and play it without install it in the PS3 HD ? Because my HD is just 60gb and almost full.

7- Wich backup manager can I use with the Geohot 3.55jb firmware ?

8- How are the compatibilities with this 3.55jb firmware ? Is it good ? I have at about 20 games here (original), do you think most of them can work fine on HD ? Most of them are popular PS3 games (like Uncharted, Assassins Creed, etc)

1: Yes

2: It creats the pkg file that you must install in order to play the game. Think of your backuped game as a treasure box in an enclosed room. The pkg is a door

3: Sony really cant fix this that easily. If they do, GH will probably have another firmware out if they do. Either way, Sony cant force u to update.

4: Yes, just reupdate to official 3.55. But why would you want to?

5: games go from 3 gigs (mostly PSM) to like 40 (GoW). Your average is gonna be around 15 I recon

to copy a game to hardrive, look for a FTP server tutorial

Ill think more about it , i fear to make some mess or be banned from PSN when I turn online. And from what ive been reading the backup proccess is still quite complicated and do not work to many games, so ill try to wait at least for an easier and safest way that maybe come along with the new tool.

do it for the cool emulators that are coming out and then im pretty sure you can go back to OFW and they would still be there . someone correct me if im wrong.

Yep , most game are allowed to run in the external HDD .

Ive got those 2 more doubts:

7- Wich backup manager can I use with the Geohot 3.55jb firmware ?
-I was looking about it and looks like just the MultiManager works... I dont really get it, im quite confused. Is it really necessary some backup manager to run those backups ? Or this "technique" people are using, is a different one that do not requires a backup manager ? Because a time ago i read that geohots 3.55jb could not run backup managers...
