I've been wondering, people that got banned, did you even try to email Sony to get yourself unbanned somehow? Or are you like most people and just let yourself be taken by Sony and whatever they do to you?

I myself email them asking them what they found that makes me get a banned console, since I dont fall under the American Jurisdiction, we have the "Innocent until proven guilty." situation, and with that Sony keeps saying "Illegal software is found ur banned." but that doesnt give me the information I asked them, and since saturday they banned my account aswell while it still has money on it. Their reason for banning my account, pretty dully said. "Same reason your console got banned." Which is stupid and too vague, so I still mailed them saying its pretty dumb and that their stealing my money. They stopped replying, probably because I said they were going lawsuitfrenzy and were inferior compared to Nintendo and Microsoft, or that I told them I'd inform the consumerbond about this shit (Which I have done.)

So do you have any story on doing something against Sony's dickery, share your story.

i really havent heard anybody getting banned, to be honest you are the first one. i would like to know what exactly is on your playstation installed that is different from mine, cause i have not received any emails i have not gotten banned and im still playing online with ****psn on kmeaw!

But Im using Waninkoko v2, used it with ****psn. I recieved the banmail when I wasnt even online on that day and didnt even have it on, hell even powerswitched it off.

im not saying kmeaw is preventing me of getting banned im just stating what im using and still never received any e mail nor i got banned. te question is what exactly is in your playstation thats getting you banned? did you cheat or hacked a game, did you have pirated psn games? i dont cheat nor hack games to cheat, i dont have any pirated psn games! just plain backups, rogero manager stealth and multiman! both managers erase data files sent to sony, but i honestly believe that doesnt help for not getting banned! i even downloaded kz3 demo 2 days ago from psn! im wondering what im doing right or is it just luck???

I dont cheat or hack a game either, dont have pirated PSN games or I wouldnt still have money on my wallet.
I used Rogero Manager aswell in stealth, erasing data aswell. I did play MvC3 before release date but that shouldnt much matter since I played SFIV a week before its release aswell.

Im pretty sure Sony is just going around picking people, and banning them. Since they have never mentioned which "illegal software" im using.

With the latest change that Grandy has made with the system, the quoted pieces are rather hard to see.
I am going to send him a pm to see if we can get this back to the way it was before the change up they made.


I don't have any money in my wallet and don't plan on having any in it anytime soon.
Never bought anything from PSN. I haven't hooked into the internet since I got the email about devices and unauthorized software on my PS3.
Not banned yet.

I will have to wait until I get off of the current road trip I am on (about 3 more weeks), but I want to use my system to test some things and don't want to chance it getting banned before I get to do this.
If it does get banned.......no big deal for me. It would then give me the chance to test unbanning software .

Ive talked to one of my coworkers who is pretty knowledgable about the law and stuff since he sort of has a similar task for it. He said the following "The user agreement does not stand above the law."

so then that should be the answer....playing games before there release date would clearly give you away for pirating, because i know for a fact that sony cannot detect if your regular backups are discs or not, thats why they been talking about putting a serial code in the game pretty much like computer software, which that wouldnt work out for rental companies nor for security cause hackers have been pirating computer software since forever!
